Default Softail ignition

Hey guys I posted a problem with my 92 softail heritage classic. Originally I thought it to be a carburetor problem but now getting into it and investigating I found it to be a ignition problem. So I bought a whole new ignition system for it and I am wondering how to install it cause I have never done it before. I have done alot of stuff myself on the bike but never wiring . I know it in the side cone from there I am wondering where it gets wired to . Like what does the module hook up to . I know it sounds like a dumb question.

Need more info on the brand... And didn't you get directions with the ignition system?

6 wires as opposed to the OEM 3 wire.
depending on if you want single fire or dual fire you’ll need a new coil.
hot
ground
Spark front coil
Spark rear coil
VOS
tach
the old ignition box ( on my 94 it was on the frame behind the battery) gets removed.

yeah the hi 4 was the one that was in there I bought this one because it came with the whole kit with the coil plug wires and everything else that I need to install it the . I spoke to a few people and they said they changed out there old one and pit that 1 in and it lasted 6 months and they had to change it out again. It being in that cone is a bad set up to start with cause
it gets to hot by the exhaust.

It's a re-branded Daytona Twin Tec. Install is simple. Follow the below link, look in the center of the page for "1005-Full Instructions" and clicking that link will open (or save) a Word document with the install sheet that should be included in the box when you get it.
