I have a 95 Heritage and my compufire ignition module went bad, question is if I buy the same one can I just switch it out as long as it is on the same setting and v groove is in the same location without putting the motor at top dead center?

The Dynatec 2ki makes both of my evo's fire up just as fast as any fuel injected bike no matter the temp.
I personally will never use anything else. JMO
