Default ‘99 Softail handle bar risers ?

I want to change the bars to a set of Heritage bars, the bike currently has pull back drag bars, the risers are part of the bars.

What should I be looking for in regards to size?
I’m looking for the stock setup I think.

Go on the HD parts finder, find the part # for stock Heritage bars, same model year as yours. Now with a part #, either look around for chrome after market bars of the same profile (J&P, Dennis Kirk etc) or go on the Bay and find an original pair. Good luck.

Sorry, I didn’t explain very well.

I have the bars, I need the risers and top clamp. I see the risers in 1” - 4”, I can’t find what the stock height would be.

My 1992 Softail Custom has 4 Inch Risers with probably one inch Pull Back with Buckhorn bars.

You looking for stock risers for a Heritage or Softail Custom? I believe the customs had the 4" pull back and the Heritage just had 1". But same answer as before, go to the HD website, go to OEM parts for the year in question and pull a part #, good luck.

Parts finder has 3 versions illustrated, only gives a part number for one (maybe using the same diagram for different models). It doesn’t give a description.
Just looking at photos of stock Heritage Softails it appears to be 1” rise and no pullback.

Search for part # 56541-86A and 56542-86A on the Bay and see what you get. If it looks like #17, you are in business.

I would go with #17 up there to avoid any potential wiring/cable length issues. If you're sure you have enough wire/cable then go with which ever ones you want.

Not sure what bike you have but stock Heritages came with 1" risers.
If your cables are the same length as OEM Heritage you can put 2 up 2 back risers (#18 in your picture) on it without changing any cables.
I know because I did it to my '95 Heritage. The down side of doing it is the risers will hit the console. Not bad but enough to lave a small scuff mark on it.

I’ve learned the Heritage and Fat Boy models both came from the factory with 1” risers, no pullback.
