purely looks....you can accomplish good/different position with both...depending on riser set up.

i highly suggest trying to find some local bikes that have swapped and see if you feel what you like.
appearing what looks like a lowrider, i would stay with the moto style...it will correct the hand placement, but keep a more stock appearance ( or what the lowrider should look like), the Tbar can more often NOT fit in on that bike.

I've always been more of a fan of a bar/riser setup than a fixed T bar. More options to customize the look and feel without changing the entire setup to do so. Used to be the only way to run internally wired bars was to use T bars since everything is one straight shot but now lots of riser companies and bar makers set their stuff up to run internally and it's super clean. I'm running Bung King risers and Thrashin bars, all wired internally and even though I've changed setups 4-5 times since I got the bike, the swaps have been easy.

I also prefer risers + bars. You might be surprised in how much a difference it can make by rotating the bars slightly in the risers. I run Biltwell Murdoc 10" pull back with Biltwell mid0bend bars on my Street Bob. I'm 5'8" with a 30" inseam and 34" arm length (arm pit to palm of hand). I'm also running a Saddlemen Step-Up seat. Hope that helps.

Bar + Risers allow you more options for fit. Adjust bars back, new bars with more or less pull back, etc. With all the settings.
Plus in my opinion T-Bars only look good on small bikes like sportsters, or bar hopper setups. (again just my opinion)

Nice I think Im gonna go with a 6" riser and Moto bars combo, I don't want it too high bc I do like a lower bar and I don't have a faring so it won't hide the tallness. happy medium . I think the bars im choosing is 4 inch rise so all together 10 inches. what do you think of those bars on my bike? should I just go with thrashing instead of the biltwell ?

trashing

what about the cheaper brands like drag specialties? maybe to save some money.

drag spec risers

yeah, I do want to keep a stock appearance I just want a little of a clubed out/ vintage version that goes with that 70's style the bike stock gives. little bit of chopper vibes, but a little bit of club style, mixing the new and the old. and with form and function without being too visibly customized, that's just my taste I guess. ill be going with risers and Moto bars of some sort, keeping in with the chrome. just trying to shop around, maybe going just starting with risers or bars first as im not in the position to blow a lot of money

Thrashin mid bends have more pullback than Biltwells and a little tighter bend after the riser, looks cleaner to me personally. I've ran Biltwells on many bikes though and they're awesome for the price.
