looking to get a set of taller risers (6") for my 2016 H-D Softail Breakout bit cannot find any. Harley does not sell any and neither does Dennis Kirk, J&P cycles or others.
Anything with a 1 1/4" bar clamp diameter and the 1/2" x 13 bolt thread should work?
Some don't include top clamps?
1" bars are more common. Harley does step the 1 1/4" bars to 1" at clamp (on some)
but not sure what bars you have?
I ran some take-off Fat Bob bars on mine cause I liked the 1.5" tapered bars.
Ended up making my risers 'cause I needed extra pullback to see my gauges.
Ive had the same problem looking for risers for my M8 fat boy. Not a lot of options out there for the 1.25 bar that doesnt look plain.
The great looking curved, blocky or for want of a better term chunky looking risers are for 1 inch bars. I want somewhere in the 4-6 inch rise but also some curve with about a 1.5 pullback in black. I feel your pain, I might have to go a bar swap to 1 inch bars.
I am a very fortunate person to have a complete fabrication shop.
The "Wild One Chubby" risers (might) work if you modified them to accept 1 1/4" bar???
My old stock Deuce risers would have been a good rise/pullback for my FXDR with the Fat Bob bar.
There was just not enough material to open them from 1' to 1.5"
Those Fat Boy Low bars look good.
A 6" riser would work (looks wise to my eye)
I bought 2 takeoff bars.
One plan was to just use flat stock and bond, then wrap with carbon.
To make them look like a 1 piece molded bar/stem. (doesn't relate to your project :-)
There are some really inexpensive risers I saw that are black. Slightly curved and came in 1 1/4"?
Will look again.
