Which carb needle?

Yeah mine has the older round float. I think my float is set too high because gas runs out on the floor if the petcock is left open.

This is correct.

However circa '92 they changed totally to the 4-sided and all OEM replacements are 4-sided after that.. (and they cost 30 bucks from a dealer now) If you find a 3-sided it's aftermarket.
