There are places that can beat these prices but if I order them in the morning, I have them by the afternoon..

Pics of the oil pump overhaul.

And a pic of the baby bagger 883L that we picked up to flip.

Got the lifetime supply of clamps coming but 25 is cheaper than what my indie wanted for 2. I told the owner I’d sell the rest of the bag to them for the $100 they charged me to press my cam gear. lol

but other than that. Between major illness and meetings I haven’t got anything done since last weekend.

I should have everything now to get it back together. Motivation is just lacking now that it’s already snowing above us and it’s too dang cold in the shop.

Got the bott end buttoned up. Been a rough few weeks battling COVID. I'm following the book timing the cam and breather and the old man was adamant I was not doing it right since the timing mark on the other side wasn't showing and my rods at bottom dead center. Had to spend a half hour showing him the book and if I was at the timing mark on the flywheel vs what's on the cam nothing lined up on the cam side. He's still thinking I'm wrong. Lol. Yeah if it was an car engine things are different. I'm simply following the manual.

On a good note. Once I got the new gasket in and torqued the cover to spec my cam end play tightened up to about .015. I can definitely live with that with a 50 thou shim in there.

Time to get the jugs back on. Woo!

Dinner break. Going to keep at it tonight a few more hours. Maybe even get the exhaust hung.

After a few back ups. (missed a bolt under the rocker covers) and then the choke/enrichenener snapped as I snugged it up. And both my parts carbs have already been harvested of those. She's pretty much back together.

I still have to remove the transmission cover to install the EZ pull kit (I might not) and the oil filler cover to remove the exhaust bracket and install the new one. Finish the fluids, and reinstall the body work, I got a massive amount done today. Getting antsy to hear this thing fire up.

Oh and getting them push rod tubes back together with all new O Rings. Holy Cats that wasn't fun.

It’s really coming together now. Won’t be long you’ll be able to hear her sing.

Making a list, checking it twice, because it's fire off time tonight!

Well not happening tonight. 1 I'm exhausted. 2 so is the 3 year old battery. Last 5 months off the tender killed it. Gonna want a string battery to crank the motor over.

Redline oil in the transmission now (crazy looking stuff). Have redline for the primary but holding off in case I need to modify the clutch. Fresh oil, but and bolt check. She's ready for her debut but will have to be tomorrow.
