the manual is split into two parts wiring and then engine/frame perhaps? - my thinking is 99482-99 is Engine frame and the other you refer to is wiring and electrical diagrams?

 

We're you able to find a 99 FSM?

I know you're in the UK but it's worth a shot..

Just to add got to thanks you guys for your help this past couple of weeks- and put up with my questioning…
I have located the following-
Two oem HDI Mufflers complete
A P&A catalogue from 99
A trans side cover in great condition (albeit aftermarket)
Workshop manuals
A pair of front/ rear seats (I had the pillion missing but the replacement seems to be better condition than the one I have)
I cant believe how elusive a rear tail light lens is but Im on the case…

Bit of luck today as I checked the battery and starter - I had just one drop to 8 ish Volts - low revs produces 14 running and I only had one non minor non engage which may well have been user error. I tried about a dozen starts and but the one the other performed as it should - 🤞🏻
