Got the gas door open, lock is disabled. Just need to go by the moco and order the ignition. Can use the tourpack again. Need to do a little modification on the lock tangs for the new locks.

It probably wouldn't apply to barrel keys, but I had a spare ignition key made at Lowes for $1.25.

No question about ownership, etc...

I had the key made, to carry in my wallet, when I got my scooter.

Be sure to take your title, not just the registration to order the main key. And... unless you lost them going down the road - you'll find them soon as you get home from the dealer.

Good job getting the door open without damage.

Lost them off my side, must not have clipped correctly on my belt loop. Retraced the first 5 miles before the 70+ highway blasts started. They're gone...

I'll have 2 extra sets made, like I have for everything else.

Can you get the ignition lock off without the key? If so take it to a lock Smith .

Why not just ride the bike to the locksmith since he didn't have the ignition switch locked?

You can get the switch lock **** off with either a crow bar or a key - no other choice.

You could take the fuel door lock off easily and to the smith but if you've already ordered keys, no need.
