Are there any aftermarket options for the dash on a 1998 softail with two piece tanks? I would like something that extends to the bottom of the tanks. Ideally I would it to be solid so I can do a bar mounted speedo and move the ignition to the horn mount location. I am having no luck. I can find plenty for 2001 and up softail.
Here's one I made for my shovelhead. This pic was taken mid-process. Wish I took a pic of the finished product. Came out pretty nice with matching coil cover. Rode with this one for about a year, then made one out of a brass plate. Got both plates from local hardware store.

ok, different question. Is there an option that at least eliminates the warning lights? I would like to get a speedo that includes the warning lights so I don't need these ones below the speedo.

I'll bet that really reflects the sun into your face.. I had a 77 FXE that was all chrome and the reflection of the chrome tank actually gave me a sunburn on my neck and face. Looked cool but...

This would look great with some of the dash trims that don't have the lights you want to eliminate
That's what I am trying to find. A dash without those lights. I find it funny that the aftermarket doesn't have an easily found option for late model EVO softails with a bunch of different dashes for spilt tanks seeing as most custom bikes are made of those models and frames. A one piece tank is an option (that's what I did on my last build), but I am trying to keep cost lower on this one and getting a set of HD tanks is a bit cheaper.
I'm not spending too much time looking for you but here's a thought . . . one of these and just make a blank piece to go where the lights would normally be . . . https://www.ebay.com/itm/26666326779...d&toolid=10049
