The 90 degree feed fitting on my 89 flhtc has wallowed out,sifton oil pump..why? Been on bike 7 years,come home from road trip and it's dripping oil..any ideas on how to fix...thanks

The fitting on top of the oil pump? How is it possible for that to wear out? I'd suspect the hose first. Like touchdown said, clean it well, dust some baby power all over, and find the actual leak.

That's what it is and where it's leaking..
I did state this...trying to upload video..

The fitting may be broken in the threads. If it is, keep wiggling and it'll come off.

No matter, it's gotta be fixed and either you're gonna do it or someone else will.

OK, that's a new one on me. Like t150 said, it has to come out. Unfortunately that means taking the oil pump apart.

Can the straight nipple be unscrewed from the 90* fitting? Would that allow the 90* fitting to be removed while the oil pump is still in place? Just guessing.

Yes, that's the only way to remove the 90.
