Waiting on some parts to come in. I did get one of the forks done and polished.

Nice Job! I prefer the look of Polished Aluminum to Chrome on Harleys.

Have a very slightly bent fork tube. Like a couple of thousandths, it'll slide into the top of the triple tree just a smige. I could probably force it in, not sure I would like the additional stress to the o'l girl. The left side slides in both sides without issue, the right has the same issue on either side.

Yeah sounds like your gonna need a new one.. Didn't you have a fall a couple of years ago?

Just a note, you have an excellent ignition module.. The SE"s work very well.. does it have selectable curves (dip switches on the back)? I just picked up another one programmable with dip switches on eBay for 60 bucks.. I look for them all the time.. They're one of the best values out there for an Evo..

Yup, new NOS tubes on the way. Guess I will start pulling them apart, and yes...when I had my parking lot debacle it went down on the right side.

As for the SE ignition, I'm not sure on the dip switches, I'll have to check it out. But it seems to work well.

Got a message from UPS, my new fork tubes are supposed to be here tomorrow.

I've been keeping busy trimming down the tree population, trying to reclaim more land. This one was growing into the roof of the shop.

Funny how the rippling in that log looks like Grandpa's lips on "The Simpsons"
