Default reduced effort clutch

Does Harley make a reduced pull clutch kit for my 1998 evo Road King?

Thanks,
Richard

Wright Bros. makes a kit that works on my 94' FXDL. The only downside is catching neutral is no longer assured. I can live with it.

Richard, please let me know how you get on, I have exactly the same bike with the same issue.

Did you choose anything yet?

I put the reduced effort kit (36808-05) on a '99 softail. If your '98 touring bike has the late model clutch it will fit. There wasn't very much differance in the softail ramps compaired to the kit ramps, but the kit ramps were a littl lower wich makes for less effort. Combined with the spring it is an improvement. Add the teflon line cable and get evenmoere improvement.

If you want something inexspensive and easy to install, try an EasyPull kit. Goes in the trans.case at the clutch cable hookup. Reduces pull about 40%, can get from JirehCycles for less than $10.00. I installed one on my 95flht/evo 2 years ago.Helped alot, especially in traffic.
