if I wanted to upgrade the clutch to a scorpion kit that's meant for 1990's and up what would I need for to get being the bikes a 89 besides the kit? not sure whats different exactly?
could I get away with ordering a 6 spd builders kit for a 90 and up....and then the clutch basket and Barnett kit? would that work together and do it?

In essence the difference is the way the clutch is attached to the main shaft. Without going through the trans item by item, the contents of the trans look the same, except for the main shaft. The clutch is quite different, but you have that covered!
