I run the Autolites in my 98 LR and don't seem to be having any problems, not to mention my Wallyworld is only bout 4 blocks from my house and they are about $4 a pair. They also carry my oil filter for bout $6 but I think I will go back to the Wix I got at Oreilly's for $11 because it is twice as long and holds more oil. I live in the Dallas/Ft. Worth, Tx area and ride my bike all the time putting 60 to 80 miles a day on it. The extra oil just makes me feel betterbout riding in all the traffic we have here.

I ran autolite in my 94 Heritage along with autolite in my 98 Classic.&nbsp\\; Never had any problems with them or Bosch plugs.&nbsp\\; one thing for sure, I will never run the Harley plugs again.&nbsp\\; Had problems with them in both bikes.&nbsp\\;

NGK IRIDIUM BPR5EIX-11 for me.
20k miles and tips are clean and has never missed a beat, smaller tip platinum or iridium fire easier and adds life to the coils and wires.&nbsp\\; Also the irid and plats are good for 100k.[8D]

I just bought a pair of the Denso Iridium plugs.&nbsp\\; The tip is even smaller than the NGK.&nbsp\\; I've heard starting a cold bike is much easier with the Iridium plugs.&nbsp\\; Any truth to this?&nbsp\\; At 10 bucks a piece that's a heafty increase over&nbsp\\;a $4 pair of Autolites.&nbsp\\; Didn't have a problem with the cost, I've pissed away 20-bucks on a lot more stupid things in my life.

There is no special sparkplug!! Some claim more h.p, Tq, improved fuel economy, and just more power period!
&nbsp\\;
About the only thing I noticed, is that SOME last longer than others. They do nothing else whatsoever other than they do one job only....and that is to SPARK!
&nbsp\\;
I've tried HD versions, Autolite, Champion(same as HD), NGK, Motorcraft, ACdelco, and so many others. They are all about the same.
&nbsp\\;
In my opionion, there is no need to spend big bucks on special sparkplugs.

My '86 had autolight platnum 64s in it from the previous owner. I see that the bike is suppose to have 4265s in it. Anyone know the difference in the two plugs besides the 64s being one heat range colder?
&nbsp\\;
What's the 42 mean and why is the other plug only two numbers?
