Default Header pipes

I know the header pipes are interchangable with an EVO until what yr... is it 06 or 07 ?

Another words I'm wanting to replace my stock header pipes, but with later model stock header pipes and can't remember what year models will fit.

Well, I put 2007 FLHT pipes on my 1986 FLHT. Perfect fit. Dunno how that relates to yours.

I have a 96 ultra (thus my screen name)
Thanks you answered my question.

I am either going to black out my pipes or replaced them.

Since I bought the bike,
I have replaced the saddle bag guard-bars from a 06
engine guard bar
replaced the passing lamp bar from a 05 RK
Sanded & blacked out the fork air dam.

I have the front fender bumper, but I'm waiting to replace that when I take the front wheel off to replace the front rotors.
The pipes/ heat shields and re-stuffing the seat are all that is left that need replacing and the bike will be in good shape again.

I don't know about any one else, but I'm embarrassed when someone checks out my ride only to see rusted parts on a good looking bike.
Granted I got a good deal on the bike, it was loaded with southeast coastal corrosion that had gotten beyond the chrome and into the metal.

What is a fair price for used header pipes and heat shields for a tour bike ?

I picked up a complete set of 07 pipes, mufflers and heat shields, appeared brand new for approx $80 shipped. They bolted right up to my 86 FLHTC. All I had to do was to block off the O2 sensor bungs.

I think I paid about a hundred shipped for my complete set from an 07, pipes, mufflers, shields, clamps, etc. like ozzie65. They had about 500 miles on them, per the seller, but I doubt even that much.
