Default Tour pack lock

I need to replace the round cylinder lock in the tour pack on my 95 Ultra. I've looked in J&P cycles and can't find one. Anyone know if this is a dealer part, or where I can order one? Planning a trip to the Ozarks in May and would like to be able to lock it up.

Is the lock itself messed up or just the latch ?
Because you can buy just the latch for like $2.50

What's wrong with the lock? A locksmith should be able to replace the cylinder for you. It's not a complicated part.

It's the lock itself. The round cylinder that the barrel key is suppose to unlock. It worked for awhile. Now it jamms up sometimes. I've tried squirting a litttle oil in it. No help. I'd rather order a new one if I can find one, rather than not being able to get it opened somewhere on the road.

I bought replacements for my bags and tourpak from my local dealer a few years ago. May still be available from H-D.

Thanks GR, headed to the dealer this weekend. I looked in a couple of vendor catalogs, but couldn't find one, so maybe dealer can get me one.

BTW, squirting oil in an ACE lock is sure death. The only thing to use is dry graphite.

They are a normally stocked dealer item, about $20. You can also buy (may have to order) a complete lock set so they are all keyed alike. I don't have a book for the part numbers...

Check the screw on the back end at the latch. Sometimes they get a tiny bit loose and cause problems with operating.

Standard dealer-orderable item. When I got my Tour Pak, I had the dealer order a lock that matches my ignition key because I didn't want the hassle of having different keys. You just give them your VIN and they order it. Took about two weeks to get it. I think it was about $30. Money well spent!
