Almost forgot, use a good #2 phillips screwdriver as the screws are very soft so as to not injure the carb body. You can also use a good pair of vice grips to break them loose. In closing you should probably also drain the tank and put some fresh high test from a station that has a seperate hose for each grade of gas. that way you aren't getting a gallon of regular first then the high test.
Sorry for the delay. But my Dads trip was pushed back. He came last weekend and we covered alot of ground. I ended changing out the plugs and wires and making some adjustments to the carb. His bike was running better than ever. Thanks for all the help on here. Heres a pic I took of him while were were burnin up I 10 coming back from tombstone.
