I would use the spray B12 unless you plan on cleaning alot of carbs. I always use the B12 spray as it comes with a small tube you can use this small tube to spray through all the small passages and it evaporates quickly. When using the carb dip you really have to flush all the parts with water to remove all the cleaner and the odor is awfull and woul;d recomend wearing good rubber gloves, If not you will wear the cleaner for a couple days and it does stink. Just my two cents

Like 95 ultra says. Treating good gas when the bike is running good will help dissolve any gum and varnish that may be forming in the carb. If the bike has been sitting for a year or longer, its iffy if it will do any good. If it can't get thru blocked passageways it won't help much. Spraying a carb cleaner into the mouth of the carb may clean the mouth of the carb, but nothing internally.,,
