i talked to the gentleman very few parts missing as for bolts ever hear of a hardware store?, bike is matching numbers, paint is almost perfect.early evo, unmolisted, just bought mine for 6500,she is a sweetie so yeah i am out of my mind
This is a basket case. If it's so special why don't they put it back together and then sell it. Why, because it would take too much money. By the way, I wasn't referring to you as "out of your mind".
it is NOT a liberty BUT it is a limited edition chrome model . What is this model that you are talking about? Mine is an all original 86 flht, it is chromed out from the factory. I didnt think there was anything special other than being taken awesome care of every Chrome piece is factory. Is there a difference in the models?

I just checked the KBB listings for a '86 liberty. There was only one model under that model nothing mentioned about a "chrome" model. The priced they gave for a bike in good running condition was $7874. It also says the final selling priced will probably be lower. It would seem the sellers price for a bike in the condition he has, is high. Once you get done finding and buying the missing pieces, you may have exceeded what the value of the bike is worth. Unless that model is special or has some special meaning to anyone, better deals are out there.,, The NADA sit has the same bike model listed. It's value in fair condition meaning it still needs alot of work is around $5k.

It might be worth the price for some collector or other fanatic. But for "normal" user it way too high. I think 2-3k would be OK.
I paid less than 5k for mine FLHTC which is 88 year with very rare colour scheme and "85th Anniversary" sticker.
