28 ounces or with bike standing level (not on kickstand) open the clutch cover and add until the fluid is about 1/2-1 inch up the clutch pressure plate. This will be close to over running and spliiling out. (28-32 oz.)

Also, run type F ATF fluid, a lot of people on here have told me it's betterthan the expensive fluids.

With the bike standing up level, fill it until the oil just touches the outer diameter of the diaphragm spring. Any more than that and you will have clutch problems, especially finding neutral.

You worded that better. The fluid is primarily to lube the chain, not to soak down the plates.

What Dan said, go by level, not by capacity.
