Default timing

Hi was wondering when timing evo if the full advance dot is on the left of the vewing hole to bring in the middle of viewing hole would you be advancing or retarding the timing plate?Thx

Moving the mark clock-wise advances the timing.

so if the dot is to left of the wiewing hole to bring it back to the middle are you saying i have to advance the timing?
