Default 93 FLHTC Swingarm

Does the 93 FLHTC have the same style swingarm as the twinke? I mean is the bushing/rubbermount setup the same and is it prone to high speed wobble like the twinke?

Not much in any of my catalogs on these barge-type parts! What I did find was that the "Swingarm Isolators" show a common part number for 1986-1999 FLT, OEM #47564-86. And it appears that some of the other parts are used for the years 1979-2001, 1987-2001, and so on. Sorry I can't be more help than that.

I can't gaurantee the 93 has the same as the twinkies, but the 96 does. My wife's 01 FLHTCI TC got converted to a trike in JAN05. It was new to us and bought for that purpose. We had several suspension related problems and I got involved in parts supply and availability for the swing arm and engine mounts. The rubber isolators are the same, the cleve blocs and bushing set are the same. In 02, the isolaters changed to a different style allignment slot instead of the pin hole and the cleve bloc changed. From the on to 06 the pivots are two piece bushings and bearings. My sources were several HD Dealerships in the DC and Ohio area. I was trying to resolve a warranty issue with a trike installer while on a trip to INDY.

The 'wooble' is realted to all rubber mounted (at the swing arm) Touring models, particularly lowered Road Kings.

I can't find the website for a 'wobble' fix while sending this. I thought the vendor was a sponsor here.

I'll send it along. There is a lot of tank slapper concern in the forums.

Nice looking thing you got there. Treat it well and it should do you fine. I've only had mine for 2 1/2 years, 15K miles. I am certainly no expert wrench on the Evos or TCs, but am trying my best. There are some twinges with the EVOs. Read what you can find and always ask. There are plenty out there that do know and are willing to share.

Ride safe, mayhap we will pass one another on the road.

Most of the EVO ills have been cured already, dyna single fire ignition, new HD crate motor, S&S stainless breather gear, Rivera Taper-Lite adjustable pushrods, Spyke High Output Stator/Alt., Jims High Volume oil pump, Andrews cam and S&S super E carb. Its a pretty good runner from what I can tell, but alas my weather hasnt held out and is not "riding weather" anymore. Todays high was 37 degrees and it kept going from rain to snow all day.

I have a true trac on my '94 hot rod bagger and there is absolutely no wobble. Even when
I get on it the bike rides straight as can be. I would not own another bagger without one. Be
aware if your bike is lowered the true trac might scrape in turns. It lets me know when I lean
too far ....

I wish I could say the same for the shovelhead bagger.
