+1 on the warm up, I keep mine at a fast idle with the thumb screw to keep away from the oil pressure issues.

Default 1996 road king evo

boy i got a good one here i got a 1996 evo that runs good setting but put a load on it and it skips jumps and want to die out thing i have done check battery its good new intake gaskets no leaks there cleaned grd cable new fuel line every even inside tank new fuel filter good fuel presssure nwew ign coil and wires new spark plugs new fuel regulator checked wireing connectionscleaned injectos no vent lines plugged now iam lost i still think its fuel and now iam not sure and ideas

Ignition somewhere I'd say if it's only under load.

Does a 96 evo have injectors mine doesnt

I think the baggers were EFI around then but not sure.

It was an option starting in 1995 on baggers and used the MM system.

(No, I'm not going to spell what MM stands for, I always screw it up [Magnetti-Marinelli?])
