Default S&S Super E ???

OK, so I just upgraded my 89 FXR from the stock Carb to an S&S Super E that I got off craigslist for $150, complete kit. Anyways the intake manifold has the hole for the MAP sensor... does anyone make a blockoff plate for that, or am I stuck making some ghetto plug? Also does anyone make a different lever for the enrichment plunger? I wanted to put my Velocity stack back on, but can't use the lever for the **** because it's on the backing plate for the air filter. I'm new to this whole carb thing, so maybe I'm just using the wrong words when I search for stuff. Thanks guys, and Ride ON!!!!

they sell different types of enrichment ***** on ebay just for that problem, not running the original backing plate.

Was it a MAP sensor or the VOES? The 1989 Evos did not have a MAP sensor, per se. What are you using for the ignition? If it is still stock, you need the VOES. I think some of the aftermarket ignitions can do without it, but you would need to know that.

Keep in mind that you need to tune the new carb. A lot. Download the instructions from S&S and go through the tuning section, if you didn't get the instructions with the carb.

I am not using the stock ignition. I'm pretty sure it's a Big Twin intake manifold, or one that's the same size, but for a newer model. The hole IS for a map sensor. A new intake manifold is pretty cheap, but really, I already have one, and it's installed. You would think that someone else has had this issue and would have made one by now.
