Default Build help...

Hey all I'm in a dilemma. I got two bikes, a 95 evo softail and a 2000 sportster 883. I wanna build a rigid... Here's the question which platform do I use? The sportser is bone stock with hd title. The softail started as a Harley but after many changes and a wreck, it has a paughco softail replacement frame, and s&s cases... No longer titled as an hd, but it's a badass scoot. Which platform would you guys recommend or choose to build a rigid? I haven't decided chopper, bobber or what not.

I'd go Sporty Bobber, but that's just me. I'm more "old school". You may also have less hassles with licensing if you have the title.

Getting a title in Alaska is pretty simple, the titling issue isn't a big deal. I only paid 500 for my sporty so I'm more inclined for that one, but at the same time my softail is already a "home built" so Its not a big deal to hack it up

Seems a shame to "hack up" a Fatboy (that's my ride), but I've seen some cool ones customised. Tough choice, now I see your dilema.

If you have never ridden a rigid before you may want to test it first. It a little different animal

Im gonna do the sporty. Gonna get a led sled hard tail and a 1250 kit from nhrs. Gonna be a badass scoot, might even have my buddy stretch and rake my neck a bit. I have ridden rigid before and love it!

looks like you already made a decision, but a fatts bobbed is a hot prospect and not the most common thing t see.
good luck with your build
