Default Tank upgrade

I'm thinking about upgrading my butt ugly 87 FLHTC tank to a 89 FLHTC. besides the holes that I would need to drill for the lower mount on the tank is there anything I need to look out for?
I already have a 89 seat on it.

The front should mount the same, as long as you drill the holes in the rear tab of the tank, you should be good to go. I've seen it done on an 87 and an 85.
