Been watching CL and ebay for a tour pack. I had a blue and pewter one from an 09 with the backrest and rack, but it was just to nice to paint IMO. So I sold it and started looking for either a black one or one at a decent price that I could paint.
Today it payed off! Found it on CL, its off of an 07 black EGC that was in an accident so the pack was broken. He had it fixed and if it wasnt for the lack of paint on the repairs, you couldnt tell there was ever anything wrong with it. It was missing one latch, I have one, and the lock, I also have one.
i found a set of shovel hard bags and brackets painted to match and like new at a flea market one time. the guy said he didn't know what they fit,$50. i was broke, but he said he would hold them and he is there every weekend. never saw the guy again.
why cant i find a tour pac or a jeep top priced like that now..
