Just to clarify, does the ignition rotor need to be replaced for the -83 OEM ignition rotor HD part # 32402-83, when doing the Morelli EFI to carb conversion? I have heard yes and no?
the H-D part is $$$...like $185 from the local stealer
my indy got me a generic-brand rotor that's been working just fine for 1500 miles (before i tore her down again), total cost was ~ $52 (i did have to swap the plastic connector parts over tho, oh well). I'll see if I can find the p/n

Thanks for the reply! I was affraid the marelli rotor wouldn't work. If you could get me that generic rotor part #, I would appreciate it! I am trying to do this conversion for as little $ as possible : )
