That tank looks very much like an FX or early Dyna tank to me. Go to Ronnies HD microfiche and take a look at late 80s/early 90s models, to see if yours matches. If your bike has a front wheel driven speedo the number of years the tank and speedo came off is not many.

Here's what I posted in your other thread:

If you need a km/h speedo, you might try to find one used on the early FXR models. The p/n for a km/u speedo used on Police models is 67082-84 (see image below).

If you do a Google search for FXR speedo km you'll find some links....

hi all, Thanks for the help id'ing the speedo, now i have a P/N to go with. I had thought of taking the dial of and sending it to a watch/clock maker to have the dial redone in kph, had the dial on my old Hamilton watch done in Canada, I will probably go with the sticky on version, quick easy fix, it is only for the guy doin the road worthy certificate, so i can register her to get on the road, if cars pass me i am going to slow, if flashing lights are behind me maybe iam going to fast, if they disappear i must be going fast enough,
The bike is a 1988 sporty bored to 1200 fitted with low rider tins etc, will get some pic's up soon
Once again thanks for all the help
