well the FXRP is a 94 , last year there made ,at 34,000 miles the FXD aka super glide is a 98 , at 17,ooo miles. they both have small windscreens, forward controls. the 94 has S&e pipes, the fxrp, has aftermarket pipes.

this will be a daily driver, whichever i choose, providing it ever gets warm enough to ride here.

1984 what else ya wanna know?

and thanks guys!

Do you have a maintenance history on either?
Have you taken either one for a test ride?

A dealer will never tell you anything bad about what they are trying to sell.

Personally 200 miles ain't that far if you are really interested.

I think you should make a trip and see them for yourself.

I flew to Pittsburgh from Florida to look at a '69 Dodge Charger a few years ago. Glad I did, it was a junker. Cost me $500 but saved me thousands.

The '98 will have some updates over the FXR (electronic speedo is a nice one in my opinion) and will be easier to find parts for, but the FXRp is definitely a much cooler bike. FXRs have respect from folks in the know, and the fact that it was a police bike is just kinda cool to me. Of course condition, miles, mods, needs, and which one feels better to YOU is what's important.

Looks like a real clean bike.

The proof is in the ride.

Go check it out in person.

Just my 2 cents.

Heavily civilianized. Not a lot of the "P" left. Seat, bags, air cleaner, exhaust, boards, controls.... Looks stock in the suspension though. A good thing, IMO.
