Heavily civilianized. Not a lot of the "P" left. Seat, bags, air cleaner, exhaust, boards, controls.... Looks stock in the suspension though. A good thing, IMO.
Outlaw hit it on the head. It looks like the only police part left is the speedo. Whoever had that bike really did it up right though, from the pictures. Arlen Ness Big Sucker air cleaner, LaPera or Corbin(?) seat, horrible throwovers, possibly Burly Slammer shocks out back (?), chrome forward controls, beautiful paint, wheels are in excellent polished condition, and possibly VH drag pipes. I'd love to have that bike if it's as nice as the photos make it look. Check the usual stuff: tires for fine cracks, underside of the motor for leaks or any damage, start the bike cold, check base gaskets on the jugs for seepage (though I'm sure it's been cleaned thoroughly), and get it up on the highway.
well the FXRP is a 94 , last year there made ,at 34,000 miles the FXD aka super glide is a 98 , at 17,ooo miles. they both have small windscreens, forward controls. the 94 has S&e pipes, the fxrp, has aftermarket pipes.
this will be a daily driver, whichever i choose, providing it ever gets warm enough to ride here.
1984 what else ya wanna know?
and thanks guys!
The FXRP looks like most of its "special" pieces have been removed. I hate drag pipes, but, aside from that, it's a nice lookin' bike. What's the asking price?
The FXR chassis is superior to the Dyna - I'm biased, but, I'd opt for the FXR assuming similar condition/price.
