Default Dumb Blinker Question

Hey guys, Got a 1997 "Fatboy" Was built by a company around here, technically not a Harley, S&S Engine, Santee frame, but almost everything else is HD. Owned the bike for a couple years and one thing I am trying to figure out is, In order for my blinkers to work, you have to hold the button down, always been that way. Is there a relay or a kit or something a guy can put in so they can be push on, push off?

Thanks in advance!!

Harley makes a blinker module looks like a pack of cigarettes. On mine it is mounted under the speedo to the frame.

I have hear about a Badlands one that many are using.

If they did their own wiring harness it might be a challenge to add one.

Look at Badlands. It may have had a stock cancelling unit when new, but it seems common for them to be replaced with a much cheaper simple auto-style flasher unit, by cheapskate owners!

Thanks guys for the help, I am pretty sure it is not a HD wire harness from looking at it. I will look into the badlands module!!

I wired in one of the badlands modules for my wife's 89 heritage, she just has to hit the signal button and it blinks although it doesn't seem to stay on for very long.
