Default Customizing a FLHS 1990

Hi,

Mattias, newbie from Sweden here...
I just got my first Touring Harley and will now customize it a bit.. so far I have a Tsukayu batwing with stereo, Burly apes, DNA 21" front wheel and Mustang seat. I have to remove the air ride system in front to make room for the new batwing, new instrument and headlight. New paint and some other parts coming soon.

This bike have not been used for 15 years so I will probably have tons of questions for you guys when its time to ride...

/M

Yea, I think she will be bad *** when I'm done...
How is it with pipes for this model? What works? Not many pipes for this old models I think? What do I need to modifie to get newer pipes fit?

I had the exact same bike (that's Candy Ruby Red as I recall.)

I converted mine into a Road King. Good motorcycle.

EVO's like 2 into 1 pipes.

Your best bet is super traps.

I've got the SuperTrapp slipon mufflers on my 93 FLHS. I'm running 18 (max 24) disks in them. Good sound, not too loud, and still have the classic duel exhaust.

For 2-1, I really like the Thunderheader. When my stock system finally rots out, I'll be looking at one of these. My son has one on his 883R, sounds gnarly.

Welcome to the sickness! Nice bike, like the DNA wheels. Where is your air cleaner?

Twinkie exhausts from a similar model up to 2008 will work. I have an exhaust from a 2008 FLHT-something on my bike. Fits perfect.
