Default New wheels

Will these fit a 95 FLSTC?

What I mean is are they bolt up or do they have different spacers and stuff?

Put a new tire on the front today and noticed some very deep rust spots on the inside of the rim.

The owner of the shop (knowing I wouldn't be buying from her) advised I replace the rim.

I would like a cast wheel so that I don't have to worry about a tube anymore.

I thought that was spoke on your front. Those on eBay look like mine. Tubes would be a pain. If I get a flat, a plug works. They don't show the dirt as bad either.

$135 for both wheels, discs, and belt pulley seems like a really good deal.

Cool

They should bolt right on. However - I am suspicious of that damaged bolt hole! Take a close look at the rim of the pulley and it looks as if has been rubbing. That is probably against the swingarm and may be because the bolts in the pulley came loose, with the missing one coming right out. At least, that is a guess on my part, but unless I could see them in the metal I would keep looking.

I have bought a lot of stuff off Ebay USA sight unseen, except for the posted photos, including a couple of wheels. Living in the UK I am naturally cautious, as I can hardly send stuff back! I personally would pass on those, but they are the right style of wheels.

There is a good looking bare set at Ebay #331007166681, a nice bare front at #261169221207. There are other more expensive ones, also some with tyres. I always pass over wheels with tyres for two reasons, one they only increase shipping costs for no real benefit, also I prefer my own brand, not someone's cast-offs!

Take a look in the Classifieds here, just in case.

Didn't notice that missing bolt. Does raise some questions. Seeing the prices of others, without discs or pulley, raises more questions. Why so cheap? Too good to be true?

Not good enough for me! And too far from you to look over. Snap up that bare pair! Too late - gone - unless you are the lucky new owner?!

Nope I didn't get them.
I was working on mothers sewing machine.

If the pulley is the only thing you see wrong with them then I could use the pulley off my current wheel.

Or do you think it is hiding something else?

Talking

It may be hiding damage to the thread in the hub. Would be worth asking the seller if all screw threads in the hub are intact and undamaged? Which would provide some come-back if necessary.

Sewing machine?! Priorities old chap......

I don't plan on replacing the wheels till the new front tire wears out.
Or maybe the back tire.
