Default Back From the Brink

Reading the posts on the older Evos yesterday brought me back from the brink of selling my '95 Springer.
Been feeling a bit guilty about having two bikes, and thought maybe the considerate thing to do for the family would be to sell one to reduce the insurance, registration costs etc.
I've had the bike 15 years and like a lot of you guys, I've had it apart so many times I know every nut and bolt. I still ride it several times a week, whenever i don't need the extra room of the Ultra, but still, two Harleys. Maybe excessive.
Anyway, I was reading the posts on everything from FXRs to tire size and it made me realize what a treasure I have and how blessed I am to be able to ride and work on that bike.
Thanks to all who share their enthusiasm for the EVOs here. Brought me back from the brink of what probably would have been a foolish choice.

There is nothing wrong with having more than one bike, or gun, etc. You don't play golf with just one club do you? Nice second bike!

17 bikes?!! Yikes! I'd hate to see the plate/insurance bills for THAT!

Don't have that many but have more than I need. Same reason, work on one ride another. They're all evo sloptails so I can rob parts if need be, 100 mile round trip to the dealer that wouldn't have the part in stock anyway. They always seem to have issues right before a big trip.

Never, ever sell a springer...
