10 winters in Minot, ND. (winters, not years) I remember what -11 in a garage feels (felt) like. But that was 12+yrs ago and I had one of those kerosene bullet heaters. That was the cat's meow when you needed to fire up the bike in Jan/ Feb. It gives a guy some glimmer of hope that spring wasn't 4 more months away.
I always looked forward to that 1 day (yes, only one) in January when living in Rapid City, SD that would be upwards of 60°-70°. Good day to get out and cycle some fluids through the machines.

My garage was 40+ at -11 outside.....I just pulled the cars in and that will help get it to 50 or so...VERY well insulated......
Ride indoors.....hmmmm. Very, very tight circles in a one car garage.
Pic of bike is my Avatar. It is sitting under cover in my carport with the battery exposed and connected to a charger. Not a pretty picture or not as pretty as the avatar.
I'm arranging to use a friends HEATED garage to do the top end/ base gaskets. That's going to be interesting to see what the previous owner might have done.
Yes. I'm looking at the weather next week also, shop foreman for a International dealership in Cincy. We have 200 parking spots and no parking spots open, even the trucks we repair in the warm shop won't start in the parking lot with this weather, the only thing that keeps me warm is blood pressure rising from all 200 truck owners that call and say they are priority over the other 199.
Right across the river from you in Newport Ky. I took full advantage of those couple nice days that popped up in November. Sure glad I did! Can't wait for this to end.
