Default Handlebar help

I finally got a chance (and the money) to order the 14" apes for my 92 EG. I have extended cables, and wiring taken care of. My only problem is the brake line. It is hard lined from the master cylinder all the way to the calipers. I'm assuming there is a splitter in the faring. Need to know how to go about extending the line. And am I able to get a braided line from an auto parts store that would work. Any advice is helpful. Also if anyone knows the specs on that line I'd appreciate it.

You will need a new line with a T fitting . It bolts up under the lower triple tree. If you get down on yr knees and look up you will see it. That way in the future if you ever choose to change yr bars again you will only need to replace the upper brake line.

Your local indy can order what ever components you want.

I replaced my front brake line with a flexible one.
I also got new banjo bolts and fittings.

Make a note of what fittings you need and the lengths you need.

Spoke with the local genius ( ******* dealer ) he said my bike is pre 94 so he can't get anything for it. Does anyone know if 94 to 98 front brake line assembly will work on my 92?

The stock brake line won't let you do what you want.
You are replacing the brake lines because of the taller handle bars and no matter what year they won't do what you want.

Get your handle bars where you want them then use some solid core wires to mock up where you want the brake lines to go.
The you measure the wires and order what you need.

As mentioned above Magnum makes good brake stuff as well as a few other companies.

No, it will not work with your new bars.
