Decided it was time to wake my girl up from her winter nap. It's been just over a year since I brought her home, and first winter storage in non-heated garage. As everyone on here knows, this has been one of the most brutal winters with snow and friggid temperatures. Flipped the fuel on, couple quick rolls on the throttle, and she fired right up! I had been a little pessimistic thinking there might be some issue when this moment came....but I was wrong! Something about her being almost 20 years old had me on edge. If I could only make it down my long, icy drive, I'd be taking some short rides already....who cares if the highs are still only 40 degrees? For now, I'll have to be content sitting out there listening to her idle.....and confirming to my wife that I still have psychological issues.
A rare high of 49 degrees here today, then 30's again forecasted for the next week.....I was watching a light snow coming down as I posted this morning. Have to look at the positives......won't be out going head over heels after hitting one of these frigg'n potholes!
I think being psycho is one the requirements to be here
YEP your thinking right , I mowed part of my lawn today , front half anyway back acre tomorrow got my farmer tan going on here at 70 today , But cold front coming by Monday

That sucks, I feel your pain, it happened to me in February this year. Had a beautiful day 50's and sunny, saw a few bikes out on my way home, just had to ride, but I couldn't get her out with all the snow and ice in the driveway. That won't happen again, I'm moving to a new house where the driveway is paved and will be cleared after every snow. I will ride in anything over 40, under 40 and the sun has to be out for me to enjoy it.
