So picked up the springer put some miles on it it seems to get carb sneeze around 30,40,50 mile past each mention it stops but at those above it sneezes and hesitate. I'm think need fuel air mix done any idea would be great
How much maintenance have you done? I just stay with the fundamentals when it comes to these types of minor annoyances. Start with clean fuel, check plugs, remove a.c. and spray starter fluid around the manifold seals. Maybe the PO has the accelerator pump to far out.
Btw, what carb are u running?
how long has it been setting UP ? todays gas wont set up very long before it glazes up ,I would get some lucas fuel treatment or another good fuel treatment ride it right & run a couple tanks out , if that don't help call THC & he'll take the springer off your hands to save you money in repairs
Now if it's just messing up at low speeds small just might be starting to clog up , try above except the phone call & see if that helps first before your get your panty's all waded up , if it does not clear up drop the carb & flote bowl & clean the jets , a can of air should blow it out
The info above is right on, start with the easy stuff. I once bought a bike super cheap from a young car mechanic that could not get it running. He admitted he wasn't a carb guy and the bike sat as is over the winter. I got it home and pulled the carb. The fuel had an oily feel and different smell than I was used to. The carb looked fine so I drained the fuel from the tank and replaced with new. It fired right up and runs perfect.
If that doesn't fix it check back. Take note to if your hiccup is at the same throttle position, or is it under hard acceleration?

It's a stock cv carb. With the air fuel plug still covered it has performance machine 90 degree air cleaner. With up swept drag pipes. I'm goin to go through and clean the carb and fuel tank bike hasn't been sitting to long couple months or so. I'll keep you all posted. And THC is not getting this springer lol
Check the jet sizes. If the jets are stock, replace with a 45 idle (some go 48) and 180 hi. Drill out the A/F plug and adjust accordingly. With the added air cleaner and exhaust mods, this is a must right off the bat for an evo CV

That's ok THC doesn't want it.
It sounds like you need to re-jet or readjust the fuel/air mixture.
What jets do you have in it now and what do your plugs look like?
I think my rear exhaust gasket is bad or not aligned I see little puff of smoke come out of the rear head when it cold well bike warming up. Could this cause a carb sneeze.
Old gas lines deteriorating from ethanol, clogging carb and jets?? Change out Cross over line and carb line with a gas line called "Barricade gas line" it is the only gas line that is impervious to ethanol. Then deal with the carb it's self.

It won't help that's for sure.
First check to make sure you header pipe is tight.
