liquidate for a quick fix?
I know you guys have been there before.
The end of the month nears and it aint lookin' all that good in the wallet. Damn, you look over at your ride and think how easy it would be to get a quick fix with a quick sale… what else do you really have that you can say that about? Better than a freekin bank.
My recurring argument is that "I can always find a good bike cheap and make it into what I want when funds loosen up."
It blows.

I feel very blessed that I'm at a point in my life that I don't have to worry about selling something in order to make ends meet.
I'm sorry that you're in that situation and hope things work out for you.

I'm being squeezed from three sides and doing my best to do what must be done. I have considered selling the Deuce and knocking out one of the three, but the last time I did that it took me ten years to get the Deuce. I don't have ten years left on this rock so that aint happening.
I guess that my initial thought is "Then what are you going to do next month? (Two, three, ten month's from now.)
I've never found it easy to replace things that have been sacrificed, but there have been times that I have sacrificed and it was the right thing to do.
Think it over carefully and do whats best.
Good Luck.

Nor could I agree more!!!
The only way you could get a "quick sale" in today's market is to sell it for half of what you think it is worth...search "completed listings" on ebay sometime...90% of the bikes listed don't sale.
