Aw come on! That's like asking 'when did you last beat your wife?' If it is running OK then it is reliable, if it ever gives you trouble let us know. You can check availability of parts on any of the on-line parts finders, such as this one.
You may come across talk of replacing your EFI with a carb, but that isn't a bright idea IMHO. You can replace your ECU with a later one, if you want to upgrade your bike, or if you have trouble with the current one.

You guys are NASTY.......This is the EVO forum.........
That being said, I know guys who wouldn't touch a carbed bike with a 10 foot pole......I love my carb.........but, I've heard that EFI is "better." Don't know why......
One reason EFI is "better" is simply that it is the only way most vehicle manufacturers can make and sell us new toys! EPA and similar bodies worldwide insist on emissions-compliant vehicles. It also provides far more accurate fuelling, which gives improved economy and better performance. Excuse me, while I carry on servicing my EFI Sporty and Buell.......

There is good and bad about both systems.
I would have no problem owning an EFI bike but I wont get rid of my carbed one.
