Default Thunder Header slip ons

I have a long-time friend with an 13 Electra Glide. He started with Rinehart 4-inch slip ons, but now is going to their true dual system. This system is stepped and his old mufflers will not fit, so he is send them to me nc. My current mufflers are the Thunder Headers and I would like to sell to generate some cash for Progessive 412 rear shocks. I wanted to post them here, but sent the following post in the new members section. Is this the correct thing to do? Below is my post for direction.

I have been spending most of my time on the Evo section, but my question is about selling parts. I have a set of Thunder Header slip ons and was going to offer to my new friends, but do not know if this is ok, or do I have to post in the parts for sale section. thanks

Post it here as a lot more people will see the add here.
I don't think many people go to the for sale section.

TD needs some good slip on's.

Your just selling the slip on's right?

I doubt you will get $300 (cost of 412's) out of a used pair of slip on's.

Correct, just the slip ons. I received a pm from a member and they are sold pending approval from pictures for $250. Close enough and a good deal for both. thanks
