I'll have to try and get it on video tomorrow, wasn't sure if it would pick up. Think if I could describe it would sound like faint jingle bells ringing quietly. It has to be hot doesn't do it cold. Also, I did a full throttle 4th gear acceleration from 1600 rpms to check for pinging and checking jetting. No bog or ping pulls straight through. I didn't hit redline in 4th but hit it 1st 2nd no issues down low or up top. Last I hit 2k coming to a stop in first gear or rolling around the neighborhood

Stop riding down there at 1600 RPM's, again. You need to be 2000+ or you will kill that motor.

I have no idea if either applies but I had a jingling noise once and it turned out my luggage rack and license plate bracket were broke.

Mine had a noise/rattle at idle. It was on of the clips broken on the front brake pads. Chased the noise for ever.

If I spent my time worrying about jingles and rattles on a bike that is 26 years old and rode like a 5 dollar ***** in Tijuana I would be crazier than I am already. If I do not find it on regular pre-ride and maintenance inspections then it does not exist. Especially with all the other racket going on in my head. Shoot sometimes there are so many committees in the damn thing I could not hear a jingle or a rattle. Sometimes it pays to have issues that are non-bike related.
