Simone correct me if I'm wrong , but IIRC single fire is 3 ohm dual fire is 5 ohm.
Most ignitions today use a 3ohm coil single or duel fire including OEM harleys coil

points and the old dyna used in shovels and iron sportys use a 5 ohm coil

twinkies use a .6 ohm / .7 ohm i think

just buy a new coil there is no reason to send a spark a cylinder when it does not need it

flat track sportys are more powerfull with the duel fire spark than any single fire on the market all the way back to the iron heads -- has to do with the 4 cam design and the lobe seperation angle of the cams

Grabbed a Accell single fire she cranked over first shot, wow what a difference.

Anyone happen to know which wire is the tach wire in the harness under the tank to the battery area?
