Default Fuel gauge problem

Fuel gauge was working fine yesterday morning. Had about 1/2 tank of gas. Filled it up before I went riding and it stayed stuck on "full" for the entire day. Also, topped it off again before I headed home and it's still stuck on full. Any ideas???

(Maybe I'm just getting great gas mileage)

Default RE: Fuel gauge problem

I had the same problem with my fuel gauge on my FLSTSCI. I took it to the dealer and they repositioned the fuel sensor. That seemed to resolve it for a while. Then my reserve light started coming on with 2.5 gallons left in the tank. Took it to a different dealer, they have since replaced the fuel sending unit, that didn't help. Now they have ordered a new speedometer to resolve this. Should be in next week, hopefully this will fix it.
