Default Thunder torque inserts compadable with EFI bikes??

I bought a used 2006 EFI softtail with se2 exhaust. Problem is the exhaust has no baffles in it. Not trying to start a political debate about loud exhausts but I prefer my bike noisy. On the other hand the health of my bike's motor is priority. Do these inserts provide enough restriction for backflow?? Thanks fellas!

Yes they do add some backpressure to an exhaust system, and by adding them it will help
to add backpressure to mufflers with no Baffles. DK Customs sales 3 sizes, 1 inch, 2 inch,
and I believe 2 1/2 inch toque inserts. You can make some by adding a body washer to a
5/16 or 1/4 stainless bolt and welding them together.

torque cones are mostly a fallacy. they can also cut performance. if they do work, it is only within a sweet spot. the idea presented with a lolli-pop probably will be better.

The Thunder Torque Inserts (TTI) are not torque cones. TTI are engineered and manufactured 'lolli-pops'.

To the OP, yes the TTI are compatible with EFI bikes. FWIW I use them on my bike, 2003 FLHRCI, and they do exactly what I wanted them to do after I took the baffles out of my slip-ons. The TTI increased back pressure, increased low-end torque, and deepened/calmed the exhaust note.

Hope that helps.

For $25 why bother?

I use them, too. Nice idle, relatively quiet at cruise and they can allow a good bark when you twist the wrist.

I have them on my 09 Ultra installed in some DNA megaphones. No decel popping or backfiring at all

Lollipops will in fact work to increase back pressure if needed. I used them on the cheap slip-ons that came with my bike until I could replace the whole exhaust system.

Thank you! I put them my pipes and I have to say I'm pleased. Went for an all day ride on Sunday and there was Minimal popping. Bike ran and sounded great
