stock carb will support most 95 builds unless it is a really high output 95.

Default mikuni 42/45

You'll only need a 42 mik (IMHO) unless you go with big cams and headwork and want to get all the top end you can (and the 45 might gasp a bit under load at very low revs on a "mild" 95).
You don't even need the 42 - as already pointed out the stock carb will work fine (if you do the filter etc). However the 42 will give a nice crisp throttle response compared to a CV and once you've got used to that I doubt you'd want to go back - it will also support most upgrades you might be planning.

(I use a 42 mik on my 99 dyna - 95 CI and Andrews 37G with V+H Pro-pipe and it's great)

That's only my experience - and I'm not a technical guy. Good luck and hope whatever you decide works out for you

A 42 will do it, as will a Thunderjetted S&S.
On the flip side, you'd be mighty surprised as to what the CV will really do.

Hurricane, if you're saying they are SS heads "out of the box", you still should invest in precision machining for the heads. There are still 10 - 13 more horses available if you invest.

If you go Mikuni, stay with the 42mm. 45mm would be too much on a 95". CV carb will do just fine to. Go to Head-Quarters and get yourself a CV tuning kit and your in business.
