Check engine light, problem?
OK I have a 07 sportster 883, I put drag pipes on back in 08, with no fuel processor cause it ran fine, and the engine light never came on while ridin. I took the pipes off cause they where blistered and pitted [bad chrome job], so I put my stock pipes back on and the check engine light keeps comming on. WHY? I did nothin but put the stock pipes back on. Now I have Radii pipes on and the light comes on after about a mile into riding time. maybe I should buy new o2 sensors? any ideals? should I get a fuel processor for it?

There is a way to find out the exact code using the dash panel. Get the owners manual out and it tells how. Go thru a little dance to get there but it works.
Like setting the clock on the thing.
which I never have done and also my truck is 4 hours and 23 minutes off for some reason but I just add to what the numbers show.
All this new tech just blows right by.
