Default H-D SE 2>1>2 Nightstick slip-ons

Hello all,

I just bought a new '13 EGC. I'm installing the above slip-ons. Can someone pls tell me how many discs I have to remove from each slip-on to produce the best low end torque numbers?

I have the dealership doing the ECM download, but I want torque over horsepower numbers.

I believe you have to remove discs from the slip-ons to gain torque numbers...

Tks a lot/B

I know the Nightsticks are a Supertrapp product, and uses the same discs to tune...but that's all I really know about them.

My Supertrapp Supermeg 2-1 came with 20 discs. After several runs removing discs I determined that 14 discs w/closed endcap provided the best torque for my TC88 with Andrews 48 Cams. Start with 20 (I think Nightstick 2-1-2 had 10/muffler) and remove 2 discs at a time. Compare results until you get the best torque.

I have SE Fatshotz (pretty much same as nightstick). I tried closed caps with 16 disc and lost power over 10disc & open caps. Went back to open caps. Now running 19 disc and open caps. 6th gear is more useable?

The fatshotz are the ones with ends you can plug. The plug was generally used with the 2-1 step up not the 2-2
SE Night sticks have closed ends unless they changed some thing.
Had the SE fatshotz on the 07 Nightsticks on the 11 and 13.
Currently running Fuel moto 2-1-2 headers with Night sticks 10 disks and dynojet tune runs great.

^^^ Smitty, Is that 10 per slip-on (20 total discs), or is it 5 per slip-on (10 total discs)?

Tks in advance for your response!

SE fatshotz come with 10 discs and open caps. SE Nightsticks come with 10 discs and closed caps. End caps and discs are interchangeable. According to Supertrapp SE fatshotz and Nightsticks are the same as Supertrapp Fatshots and Nightsticks except for what end caps and discs they come with (and of course SE script and EPA stamps). Again according to Supertrapp difference between Fatshots and Nightsticks is Fatshots have perforated core and nightsticks have solid core. The supertrapp website has a great fourm. I think SE Nightsticks come with closed caps because the solid core is louder?? At any rate I'm very happy with my SE Fatshotz with 19 discs each and open caps. Good power and not too loud.

Both served me well, the fatshotz were a little bit deeper in sound IMO
